Anibal Sanchez Expects To Return When Eligible
6 years agoWashington Nationals starting pitcher Anibal Sanchez (hamstring) threw pain-free on Monday and said he never had an MRI exam for his mild hamstring strain. The veteran right-hander expects to return from the injured list when he's eligible on May 27. The 35-year-old is 0-6 with a 5.10 ERA, 1.68 WHIP and 41 strikeouts in 42 1/3 innings (nine starts) for the Nats and hasn't been of much use to fantasy owners in any league settings. Erick Fedde is filling his rotation spot for the time being. Fantasy owners won't be holding their breath for Sanchez to return.
