Andrew Vaughn Homers Again in Brewers Win
Andrew Vaughn remains red hot for the Brewers, and helped them secure a 5-4 win on Wednesday night to close out a sweep of the Braves. The Brewers have won six straight and nine of their last 10 games to open a four-game lead over the Cubs in the NL Central, and Vaughn's contributions have been key to their success. In his 22 games since being called up from Triple-A, Vaughn is hitting .377 with seven homers, 28 RBI, and a .476 wOBA. The former No. 3 overall pick in the MLB Draft couldn't stick with the White Sox, but he has been outstanding in his time with the Brewers, and he remains a great bargain play for DFS contests and an excellent addition if he's still on the waiver wire. His long-term role is a little uncertain when the Brewers get healthy, but he's definitely earned a regular spot in the lineup for the foreseeable future.
