Cleveland Indians relief pitcher Andrew Miller was placed on the 10-day disabled list with a left hamstring strain. Miller was forced to leave Wednesday's game after throwing just two pitches. Manager Terry Francona said the injury seemed minor and mentioned that when Miller had previously suffered a similar injury, he only needed a few days off. Miller underwent an MRI on Thursday, though, and it must have shown enough to warrant a stint on the disabled list. While some hamstring injuries can linger and keep a player off the field for many weeks, this one doesn't seem like one that should last more than a week or two.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
