Los Angeles Angels shortstop Andrelton Simmons (ankle) is taking ground balls but isn't moving laterally on Thursday. It's a positive sign after he suffered a Grade 3 left ankle sprain on May 20. Simmons probably still won't be able to return until sometime in July, so fantasy owners must be patient. He was one of the team's better offensive contributors before his injury, hitting .298/.323/.415 with three home runs, 22 runs, 21 RBI and five stolen bases. He's probably not worth holding in shallow mixed leagues, but he's not a bad stash if you have the room everywhere else.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
