Andrei Svechnikov Sets Up Two Goals
2 years agoCarolina Hurricanes left wing Andrei Svechnikov contributed two assists as the team produced a big comeback victory on Tuesday against the Kings. He set up Brent Burns for the opening goal in the first period, but the Kings struck back with four consecutive tallies and Carolina fell into a 4-1 hole. The team managed to climb out of it with a three-goal third period, and Svechnikov had his second assist when Teuvo Teravainen tied the game on the power play. That's now three multi-point games in six appearances for the Russian winger, but sadly he hasn't added anything to his tally in the rest of the games. The inconsistency led to a pretty unproductive month, but Svechnikov remains a very valuable fantasy assess for his all-around ability. In 50 games this season, he has posted 19 goals and 41 points with 167 shots and 105 hits.
