4 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (back) received a shot in his back for SI joint inflammation, and the shot calmed it down. His back isn't considered a big deal. Kamara's name was in the news late Tuesday night, with some saying the Saints were looking to trade him because they haven't found common ground in long-term contract negotiations. Cooler heads have prevailed, the star running back returned to practice on Wednesday, and the two sides are expected to work something out eventually. The 25-year-old has been a Pro Bowler each of his three years in the league and has exactly 81 receptions each season despite not reaching the 1,000-yard rushing mark.
