Alvin Kamara Sits Out Wednesday's Practice
2 years agoNew Orleans Saints running back Alvin Kamara (quadriceps, personal) did not take part in Wednesday's practice. Kamara's injury isn't believed to be serious, so it's likely that he's just getting a personal rest day to begin the practice week. If he's able to return to practice on Thursday or Friday, he'll likely suit up in Week 17 against the Philadelphia Eagles. The 27-year-old hasn't been as valuable in PPR fantasy leagues this year because of his drop in usage on third downs, but Kamara remains the Saints' lead back and has 20-plus carries in each of the last two games. He's the RB17 in half-point PPR setups and will be in play as an RB2 this weekend against the Eagles if he's active. If for some reason Kamara is unable to play, it could be veteran David Johnson leading this backfield.
