Allen Robinson Believes He Is "Totally Different Player" In '19
5 years agoChicago Bears wide receiver Allen Robinson is enjoying an excellent, healthy camp with just a few weeks to go until Week 1. Robinson has not played a snap in the preseason, nor will he in the final two games, but believes he is poised for a huge season. "I look like a totally different player," Robinson told reporters. "Last year I didn't start running routes until about June. Being able to have that 8-10 week span before training camp-on my own-I think that was most beneficial." Robinson signed via free agency last season but was recovering from a torn ACL at the time. The veteran believes his rehab extended all the way through the regular season but now he is 100% healthy. The Bears passing game should improve this season but at what rate will depend upon quarterback Mitch Trubisky's growth. Robinson could be in line for a huge year if the offense takes a step forward.
