Allen Lazard Dealing With Shoulder Injury
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers head coach Matt LaFleur said that wide receiver Allen Lazard (shoulder) suffered a shoulder injury in the Week 7 loss to the Washington Commanders. "And I'm going to kind of leave it at that and see how it heals through the course of the week," LaFleur said. Lazard was in a sling following Sunday's game after getting injured in the third quarter. The 26-year-old appears to be very questionable for next Sunday night's tilt against the Buffalo Bills, and fantasy managers should make sure to have backup options in place if Lazard can't play. Randall Cobb (ankle) is on Injured Reserve and rookie Christian Watson (hamstring) has missed the last two games, so the Packers are very thin at wideout. Sammy Watkins, Amari Rodgers and rookies Romeo Doubs and Samori Toure could be the team's top wideouts next weekend if Lazard and Watson are unavailable.
