1 year agoSt. Louis Blues right wing Alexey Toropchenko was unavailable for selection for Thursday's preseason game against Dallas due to a lower-body injury. The 24-year-old had to give up his spot to Nikita Alexandrov. Toropchenko had his first full NHL season last term and notched 19 points (10 goals, nine assists) in 69 games. The preseason has given him an opportunity to carve out a bigger role for the new campaign, and the injury will definitely be a blow for him. --Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
