Vancouver Canucks defenseman Alexander Edler logged a team-high 27:09 minutes of ice time and two points in a 5-4 loss to Colorado Saturday night. Edler chipped in a goal and a power-play assist, giving him three points in the last three games and 14 total for the season. Despite teammate Quinn Hughes returning from injury and pushing Edler to the second power-play unit, Edler has two power-play points in his last three games. A perennial periphery category stud, there was a concern that Edler's fantasy value would wane with the emergence of Hughes, but with a higher point per game rate (0.67 points per game) than last season with an identical 7.8 percent shooting percentage, it seems Edler has put that concern to bed.--Russ Ivanac - RotoBaller
