2 years agoAlexa Grasso (16-3) shocked the world back in March at UFC 285 by dethroning the flyweight queen and one of the best female fighters of all time, Valentina Shevchenko. Grasso submitted Shevchenko in the fourth round in March, ending Shevchenko's five-year reign as the flyweight champion, as well as ending Shevchenko's nine-fight winning streak. On Saturday, Grasso and Shevchenko are scheduled for a rematch as the main event of the Noche UFC card that will take place at the T-Mobile Arena Las Vegas. DraftKings sees Grasso as the underdog with a salary of $7,700. Throughout her UFC career (11 fights), she averages 70.9 fantasy points per contest.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller

2 years agoAlexa Grasso and Valentina Shevchenko put on an epic back-and-forth battle on Saturday for the UFC women's flyweight title in the main event of Noche UFC. Grasso's huge upset victory this past March set the stage for a big rematch on Mexican Independence Day. Shevchenko took the first round without much contention, however, the second was for Grasso after knocking down Shevchenko with a powerful right hook. The deciding factor that made this fight a split draw was the fifth round and a 10-8 score that didn't seem warranted at all. In 25 minutes of back-and-forth action, Grasso landed a takedown and 84 significant strikes.--Alen Kurbasic - RotoBaller

2 years agoWith the biggest upset thus far this year in the women's division, Alexa Grasso earned a finish over Valentina Shevchenko to earn the flyweight crown on Saturday. The finish came at the 4:34 mark of the fourth round. In 19:34 of action, Grasso tallied 59 significant strikes compared to Shevchenko's 87 but led in the total strike department by landing 182 compared to her opponent's 167. Down heading into the championship rounds, Grasso capitalized on an errant spinning back kick, instantly taking the back of the champion and locking in a rear-naked choke for the victory.--Matt Bricker

2 years agoRiding a four-fight winning streak into the biggest fight of her career, Alexa Grasso (15-3) will look to take on flyweight queen Valentina Shevchenko in the co-main event of UFC 285 on Saturday. A pace-controlling fighter, 10 of her 15 career wins have come by decision. Prior to Shevchenko, the biggest name on Grasso's resume was Carla Esparza, which was also her last loss. DraftKings sees Grasso as the second-biggest underdog on the card with a salary of $6,800. Throughout her UFC career (10 bouts), she is averaging 68.9 fantasy points per contest.--Matt Bricker
