Washington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin continued his torrid goal-scoring pace. After recording a hat trick against the San Jose Sharks on Tuesday night, Ovechkin responded with another goal on Wednesday against the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also had two penalty minutes, three shots, three hits, and two blocks in 19:59 of ice time. Only so much can be said about Ovechkin. He is a fantasy stalwart that is on pace for another 60-goal season. Nicklas Backstrom tallied a goal and an assist in the contest while T.J. Oshie picked up two assists. The Capitals are now on their All-Star break and return on February 1 against the Calgary Flames. As a reminder, Ovechkin will be serving his one-game suspension during that game. Ensure he is replaced in fantasy lineups. --Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller
