Washington Capitals left wing Alex Ovechkin scored his 21st goal of the season in Friday's 4-3 victory against the Sabres. Ovechkin fired a shot that deflected into the net off of Sabres defenseman Rasmus Dahlin, giving the Capitals a two-goal lead midway through the first period. The 35-year-old continues to climb up the NHL's all-time goals list, as he currently sits in sixth place and is only four goals away from entering the top five. Ovechkin has totaled 21 goals this season, trailing only Auston Matthews (28), Mikko Rantanen (23), Connor McDavid (23), and Leon Draisaitl (22) in the NHL goal scoring lead.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
