Alex Gordon Smacks Four Hits, Homers In Rout

Kansas City Royals outfielder Alex Gordon has been on fire since his return from the disabled list and he capped that off in a massacre of the Orioles on Tuesday night. Gordon finished 4-for-5 with a home run and three runs batted in, and that raised his season average to .321. According to Gordon and his hitting coach, he hasn’t made any major mechanical adjustments to his swing, but he’s an entirely different player over the last month compared to the past couple of years. The 34-year-old has three home runs and eight RBI over his first 21 games this season, and if he can keep hitting well, he may actually become fantasy relevant and useful in real life baseball once again.
