Alex Collins Still Managing Groin Issue
3 years agoSeattle Seahawks running back Alex Collins (groin) was limited in practice on Wednesday coming off the team's Week 9 bye. It shouldn't keep him from being active in Week 10 against the Green Bay Packers unless he suffers a setback in the next couple of days, but the bigger problem for his fantasy value is the potential return of Chris Carson (neck) from Injured Reserve. Collins has seen double-digit carries in each of his four starts with Carson out and has been Seattle's primary back, but he's averaging just 3.72 yards per carry and managed two touchdowns (one rushing, one receiving) in that span with quarterback Geno Smith leading the offense. He'll have some more RB3/flex upside with Russell Wilson (finger) returning this weekend, but only if Carson is given more time to heal.
