7 months agoBaltimore Orioles manager Brandon Hyde stated on Tuesday that starting pitcher Alex Cobb (back) is expected to start Friday's game. The 31-year-old has made just one start this season, sustaining a lumbar strain 10 days ago. The Orioles are set to take on the Minnesota Twins on Friday for Cobb's second start of the season. The right-hander went 5-15 last season, his first in Baltimore, posting a 4.90 ERA in 28 starts. His one start this season, however, was promising, as he fell just an out short of a quality start.--Ricky Delgado - RotoBaller
