Alex Bregman Throws Past 90 Feet
6 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman (elbow) is progressing from arthroscopic surgery he had a month ago to remove bone chips. He has been hitting in the cage and fielding ground balls at third base and on Saturday he progressed to throwing past 90 feet. Bregman estimated he was throwing at 90 to 95 percent intensity, too. He broke out in 2018 and finished fifth in the American League MVP voting and is expected to be ready to play in spring training games in early March. Bregman is one of the best young players in the game. Don't let his injury dissuade you from considering him in the late first round of drafts.
