Alex Bregman Snaps Slump With Fifth Home Run
6 years agoHouston Astros third baseman Alex Bregman went 1-for-5 on Tuesday night, including his fifth home run of the season, in the team's 11-0 win over the Twins. Bregman came into the game mired in a 2-for-18 slump in what has been an up and down first month of the season. Bregman heads into the month of May slashing .271/.410/.479 on the season, which is solid but not worthy of the top-10 draft status he received heading into 2019. Fantasy owners, however, can relax as Bregman got off to a lukewarm start last season before smacking 10 doubles in the month of May and then slugging .713 in the month of June en route to a breakout campaign.
