3 years agoNew Orleans Saints tight end Adam Trautman (ankle) is not listed on the official injury report ahead of the season-opener in Week 1 against the Green Bay Packers. A popular breakout candidate heading into training camp, Trautman had a very small role in the preseason opener and then left on a cart with a left ankle injury in the second preseason game. At the time, it was up in the air as to whether Trautman would be ready to play in the first regular season game. With both Jared Cook and Josh Hill gone, there is ample opportunity for Trautman to emerge as a TE1 option this season, but it's understandable for fantasy managers to be hesitant after Trautman's disaster of a preseason and training camp this summer. In deeper leagues, the 24-year-old is worth a stash as a TE2 with upside.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
