Adam Thielen Officially Inactive Monday Night
3 years agoMinnesota Vikings wide receiver Adam Thielen (ankle) is officially inactive on Monday night against the Chicago Bears. Thielen came into this one as a game-time decision, but the fact that he didn't practice all week made him unlikely to suit up. The veteran wideout suffered a high ankle sprain in Week 13 and will now miss his second straight game. There's no guarantee that the 31-year-old will be ready to return for a Week 16 game against the Los Angeles Rams for the fantasy semifinals. With Thielen out again, K.J. Osborn will have a bigger workload behind Justin Jefferson, while tight end Tyler Conklin will be a more attractive touchdown-dependent, low-end TE1. Dede Westbrook and Dan Chisena remain on the COVID list, so expect rookie Ihmir Smith-Marsette to serve as the No. 3 receiver.
