Adam Shaheen 2018 Outlook: Can He Succeed As Chicago's Number Two Tight End?
6 years agoAdam Shaheen was a popular sleeper pick before free agency, but with the Bears bringing in Trey Burton to be the starting tight end, the Shaheen hype has understandably died down. Still, Shaheen caught three touchdowns as a rookie and had a catch rate of 85.7 percent; with a less than impressive group of wide receivers in Chicago after Allen Robinson, Shaheen should see the field a good amount in two tight end sets. Will it be enough for him to maintain fantasy relevance? Probably not, but he's a player worth monitoring. Tight end handcuffs don't really exist, but if they did Shaheen would be one of the top ones in the NFL this season.
