1 year agoNew York Islanders defenseman Adam Pelech suffered an undisclosed injury in Thursday's matchup against the Capitals. He played only a handful of minutes and was seen holding his side as he exited the game. The team hasn't yet announced the severity of the issue. Pelech has been ever present for the Islanders so far, posting one assist in nine games with 10 shots on net, 20 blocks, 12 hits, and a plus-two rating. If he can't play in Saturday's contest versus the Hurricanes, Samuel Bolduc looks set to re-enter the lineup.
