Adam Frazier Heading To Baltimore
2 years agoThe Baltimore Orioles agreed to a one-year, $8 million deal with free-agent second baseman Adam Frazier on Thursday. Frazier had one of his worst years in the big leagues with the Seattle Mariners last year, slashing .238/.301/.311 with only three home runs, 42 RBI, 61 runs scored and a career-high 11 stolen bases in 602 plate appearances and 156 games. The 31-year-old will be hoping a move to the American League East and a more hitter-friendly environment at Camden Yards will help him bounce back in 2023. Frazier was an All-Star as recently as 2021, when he hit .305/.368/.411 with five home runs, 43 RBI, 83 runs scored and 10 stolen bases in 155 games with the Pittsburgh Pirates and San Diego Padres. He has very little power but can offer some modest speed as a middle infielder in fantasy lineups.
