Columbus Blue Jackets center Adam Fantilli (leg laceration) has been ruled out for Tuesday's contest against the St. Louis Blues. Fantilli was cut on the leg by a skate against the Seattle Kraken on Sunday and did not return after skating just 7:30 in the contest. It's been a successful rookie season for the 2023 third-overall pick as Fantilli has notched 12 goals and 27 points alongside 115 shots on goal across 49 games on the season. He is tied with Zach Werenski for second on the team in points while his 12 goals on the season are good for fourth among Blue Jackets skaters. Sitting him Tuesday makes the most sense considering it's the club's final pre-All-Star contest while the team doesn't return to action until Feb. 10 against the Tampa Bay Lightning.--Brenton Kemp
