3 years agoChicago White Sox manager Tony La Russa said that outfielder Adam Engel (hamstring) will be activated from the injured list during the series against the Minnesota Twins this week. Engel will start in three games before next week's All-Star break. The 29-year-old has been on the injured list two separate times this year due to hamstring issues, and he'll return to a .241/.313/.552 slash line, three home runs and four RBI in just 29 at-bats for the Pale Hose. Engel managed to hit .295 in 36 games in 2020, but he tallied just three dingers and 12 RBI in 93 plate appearances. He won't be guaranteed to see consistent playing time once he's back, either, making him mostly a candidate for AL-only leagues.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
