Adam Duvall To Start Rehab Assignment Tuesday
1 year agoBoston Red Sox outfielder Adam Duvall (wrist) will start his minor-league rehab assignment on Tuesday with Triple-A Worcester. Duvall resumed hitting off a tee and doing soft toss last weekend, so he's expected to be around three weeks from returning to the major-league roster. The 34-year-old power-hitting outfielder has been rehabbing from a fractured left wrist that he suffered while diving for a ball in the outfield on April 10. Before the injury, he had gone 15-for-33 (.455) with five doubles, a triple, four home runs and 14 RBI in just eight games. Duvall isn't going to be that hot all year, but he'll be an everyday player and should be stashed in all fantasy leagues. If for some reason he's on your league's waiver wire, add him immediately.
