3 years agoKansas City Royals shortstop Adalberto Mondesi (oblique) has been on the field going through drills every day, including taking batting practice. It's been a disappointing season for the talented infielder in 2021, as he's played in just 10 total games due to multiple oblique injuries. However, he's improving and could start a minor league rehab assignment in the next two weeks. Barring setbacks, there's a good chance he could return to the Royals at some point in the middle of August. Because of the 26-year-old's elite speed, he should remain rostered in all fantasy formats. Nicky Lopez should continue to man the 6 in Kansas City in Mondesi's absence.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
