Adael Amador, Michael Toglia, Mickey Moniak Sitting on Thursday
Adael Amador, first baseman Michael Toglia and outfielder Mickey Moniak are all on the bench for Thursday's series finale at Coors Field against the Philadelphia Phillies and left-hander Ranger Suarez. Aaron Schunk is at the keystone and is hitting eighth, Kyle Farmer is playing first base and batting seventh, and Tyler Freeman is in right field and in the six-hole. Freeman is the only one of the trio that has faced Suarez in his career, and he's gone hitless in seven at-bats. Amador will take a seat after starting each of the last six games. The young infielder has hit just .158 (12-for-76) with a homer and steal as the regular second baseman. The switch-hitting Toglia will sit for a second straight game and could continue to lose more playing time while leading the league with 71 strikeouts in 166 at-bats.
