Aaron Rodgers Trade Won't Happen Until After Draft?
2 years agoESPN's Adam Schefter said on his podcast that it sounds as though Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers won't be traded to the New York Jets until after this year's draft at the end of April. The Jets still fully expect to get something done to acquire the future Hall of Famer, but Rodgers' massive contract isn't making the situation easy by any means. There is also the issue of compensation for the 39-year-old signal-caller, who very well could retire after just one season with the Jets in 2023. Rodgers will have a good chance to bounce back with better weapons around him in New York next season, but after last year's disappointment, fantasy managers should probably consider him more of a low-end QB1.
