Aaron Rodgers Plans On Playing In Week 13
2 years agoGreen Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers (ribs) said on the Pat McAfee Show on Tuesday that he received positive results from his scans on Monday and that he plans on playing in Week 13 against the Chicago Bears. Rodgers injured his ribs late in the Sunday night loss to the Philadelphia Eagles in Week 12 and never returned to the contest. X-rays ruled out a punctured lung, but it's unclear exactly what is ailing him. The 38-year-old future Hall of Famer is also dealing with an avulsion fracture in his right thumb that he's been playing with for a while, which has affected his accuracy at times. Expect Rodgers' practice repetitions to be limited this week entering Sunday's meeting with the Bears, where Rodgers will be an even riskier QB2 if he plays.
