Aaron Nola Fans Six Marlins In No-Decision
4 years agoPhiladelphia Phillies starting pitcher Aaron Nola allowed one run in six innings but had to settle for a no-decision Wednesday at the Marlins. Nola allowed two hits and three walks while picking up six strikeouts in the contest. It was a nice bounce-back effort from Nola who allowed 12 runs in his previous three starts, spanning 15 2/3 innings. The right-hander hasn't lived up to his lofty expectations this season, but he's still been a must-start arm in fantasy as the underwhelming version of Nola is still sporting a solid 3.72 ERA with a 2.98 FIP, 1.10 WHIP, and 76 strikeouts in 65 1/3 innings. He's got a tough matchup in Cincinnati next time out.
