Aaron Laffey Announces His Retirement
7 years agoIn case you were wondering what ever happened to former New York Mets starting pitcher Aaron Laffey, the 33-year-old announced his retirement on Wednesday. Laffey had been pitching for Triple-A Las Vegas in the Mets farm system, and it's safe to say that was not going well. Less than 24 hours ago, Laffey allowed 14 runs on 15 hits in only three innings pitched. You read that right. It sounds like it’s just about time for him to hang things up. Laffey finishes with a 4.44 ERA across 68 career starts (156 total appearances).
