Aaron Judge Goes Yard Twice
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge went 2-for-4 with a solo home run and a grand slam in Friday's blowout win over Detroit. Judge had taken a seat on the bench for the past two games as management for his heavy workload- though he returned to the lineup with a bang, crushing a tape-measure, 436-foot solo shot off of Tigers' starter Tarik Skubal in the third inning, then taking reliever Buck Farmer deep for a grand slam in the fourth. Both long balls registered exit velocities of 100 MPH or more, and the two homers give the slugger four extra-base hits in as many games. Judge did take a seat for the final innings of Friday's game, though his fantasy managers were probably very pleased with his output by then. He'll look to continue feasting on Tigers' pitching on Saturday.
