Aaron Judge Drives In A Pair
4 years agoNew York Yankees outfielder Aaron Judge didn't record a hit but drove in a pair of runs in Wednesday's 8-4 win over the Minnesota Twins. Judge put three batted balls into the field, each of them registering exit velocities of 100 MPH or greater, as he walked in a run and collected a fielder's choice. The slugger has been the best hitter on the Yankees this season, though his bat has slowed a bit in June, as he has just one extra-base hit in 24 at-bats. Still, Judge is always one swing away from depositing a ball into the outfield seats, especially given his new, contact-heavy approach at the plate. The power numbers will be back just as soon as they dissipated.
