Aaron Hicks Could Be Added To ALCS Roster
5 years agoNew York Yankees manager Aaron Boone said that outfielder Aaron Hicks (elbow) is in "consideration" to be added to the roster for the American League Championship Series against either the Astros or Rays. Hicks is doing some hitting at the stadium on Wednesday. Injuries have kept Hicks to only 59 games this year, and he's disappointed with a .235 average, 12 home runs and 36 RBI after hitting a career-high 27 long balls and driving in 79 a year ago. He'd be a huge addition to an already stacked Yankees roster, but he wouldn't be guaranteed to start. After all, he's been out of action since early August.
