Aaron Gordon Posts Double-Double In Loss To Celtics
5 years agoDespite an admirable performance from Orlando Magic forward Aaron Gordon on Wednesday, the Celtics came away with the victory 116-100. Gordon was aggressive heading to the basket all night long and it paid dividends, as the six-year pro got to the charity stripe 10 times and converted on eight of his opportunities. He was second on the team in scoring, finishing with 23 points on a solid 7-for-15 shooting from the field. Gordon also pulled down 10 boards and dished out four dimes in what resulted in the Magic's sixth loss in their past seven games. Though the 24-year-old has had a down year overall, he has picked up his quality of play as of late -- this is his second consecutive double-double. Gordon collected 16 points and 12 rebounds in a win over Charlotte on Monday.
