2 years agoThe Milwaukee Brewers aren't expecting left-handed starter Aaron Ashby (shoulder) to be ready for Opening Day this year while dealing with more shoulder issues. "It's a remnant from last year that manifested itself as he ramped up throwing again," manager Craig Counsell said. "We had to take a pretty big step back as far as rest." This was pretty much a foregone conclusion when the injury news broke on Wednesday, so fantasy managers will need to plan for Ashby to miss some time early on this year. The 24-year-old southpaw is still young with plenty of strikeout upside, but command issues and injury concerns make him a pretty shaky fantasy asset right now.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
