A.J. Brown's Hip Injury Isn't Serious
2 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles wide receiver A.J. Brown (hip) injured his left leg-hip area during Saturday night's Divisional Round blowout victory over the division-rival New York Giants, but he told members of the team that he was fine afterword, according to a source close to the wideout. Because the Eagles were up 28-0 at halftime, Brown played only 73 percent of the offensive snaps and wasn't needed much at all in this one. He finished with a disappointing three catches on six targets for 22 yards. The 25-year-old could be limited in practice this week, but he should play in the NFC Championship on Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers. If fully healthy, Brown could bounce back for fantasy managers against a Niners defense that allowed the sixth-most fantasy points per game in half-point PPR scoring in 2022.
