The San Francisco 49ers defense and special teams unit gave up 28 points (21 of those offensive points) to the Atlanta Falcons, allowed 168 rushing yards, and failed to generate any turnovers. The absence of NFC sack leader Nick Bosa (groin) hurt them. Without him, they only made two sacks. CB Emmanuel Moseley (torn ACL) and DT Javon Kinlaw (right knee) also missed the game, and S Talanoa Hufanga, LB Samson Ebukam, DE Drake Jackson, and S Tarvarius Moore all had to leave the field with medical issues in game. The good news for the Niners is that second-year breakout star Hufanga cleared concussion protocol, and Bosa could return next week against Kansas City.--Mitchell Blatt - RotoBallerRead More News
