MLB DFS Picks Today: Daily Fantasy Baseball Strategy and Tips For FanDuel, DraftKings (5/13/25)

Francisco Lindor - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, MLB DFS Picks, Betting Picks

Jamie's top DraftKings and FanDuel MLB DFS picks for today, Tuesday, 5/13/25. His favorite daily fantasy baseball lineup sleepers and value picks for DFS on DraftKings and FanDuel.

THE KNICKS WON AGAIN AND I'M SO EXCITED. On a serious note, though, prayers up for Jayson Tatum, who went down with what LOOKED like an Achilles injury. In addition, my beloved Yankees also lost Oswaldo Cabrera to an ugly-looking ankle break last night, so best wishes to him as well.

Back to business, we have only eight games on the slate tonight, and while there's no clear-cut top stack, this article will look to exploit the highest upside teams for both cash and GPP contests. As always, we'll be discussing the entire slate all afternoon and evening in our RotoBaller Discord channels, so please come join us!

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 5/13/2025, with the slate starting at 7:05 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will showcase elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is always essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Kodai Senga, NYM ($9.5K DK/$9.8K FD)

In the long term, it's fair to expect regression from Kodai Senga. A 4.24 xFIP backs his 1.16 ERA, and his 11.2% BB rate is a career worst. However, this doesn't strike me as the day to fade (or stack against). The Pirates are 29th in OPS and 28th in wOBA against RHP, and have also hit 21 HRs in that split (worst in the league). The Pirates have a slate-low IRT of 2.9 runs, so Senga profiles as a tremendous floor play for cash.

Ben Brown, CHC ($7.5K DK/$8.3K FD)

Ben Brown is the cheap guy you want tonight. The Marlins are a middling K matchup against RHP, but they're a bottom-10 team in OPS, wOBA, and ISO. Brown has started 2025 strong with a 3.45 xFIP and 26% K rate, and right now the wind is blowing in at Wrigley. Brown had an elite 32.4 CSW last year and projects for 32.9 tonight (highest on the slate).

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Francisco Lindor, NYM ($5.3K DK/$4K FD)

Francisco Lindor leads the league in barrel rate over the last 10 games, and he has multi-hit games in four of his last five. I'm not a fan of boxscore watching, but it's tough to ignore the gaudiness of what Lindor's recent games look like.

Since the beginning of last year, Lindor has a .370 wOBA and .212 ISO against RHP, and Mitch Keller's K rate has started to dip against LHB continually. The switch-hitting Lindor also won't lose the platoon edge when they get into the Pirates' suspect bullpen.

Matt Olson, ATL ($4.6K DK/$3.3K FD)

I'm going to continue to push the Matt Olson narrative as long as he remains underpriced on both sites. The Braves have an IRT of 5.2 runs against their former teammate Mike Soroka, and should be utilized despite Soroka's strong start to the season.

Olson has a 41% HHR against righties this year, and Soroka (while succeeding thus far) has continued to struggle with hard contact allowed to LHB. Olson can be used as a one-off in cash or as a cornerstone piece to Braves stacks.

Michael Busch, CHC ($4.7K DK/$2.9K FD)

The Cubs are my favorite offense to target tonight, despite being in freezing temperatures and pitcher-assisted winds. Michael Busch can currently be had for a discount off of his higher-profile teammates, and his .836 OPS (career-high) offers similar upside.

Marlins pitcher Valente Bellozo has peripherals that scream "ATTACK ME", highlighted by an 18% K rate against a whopping 13.2% BB rate. He also has a 5.83 xFIP, which is almost 2.5 runs higher than his ERA. On DK, there's a choice to make between him and Olson. On FD, you can do both (and Busch's price is simply criminal there).

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Kyle Tucker, CHC ($6.3K DK/$4.4K FD)

Kyle Tucker is a great play tonight, especially since he's only $100 less than the (likely) higher-owned Aaron Judge on DK. Tucker gets one of the best matchups of the night, and he's been an absolute force in the platoon split.

Since the beginning of last season, Tucker has a .420 wOBA and .307 ISO against RHP to go along with a 181 wRC+. Bellozo has the lowest CSW projections on the slate, making Tucker's floor/ceiling combo worth every penny.

Juan Soto, NYM ($5.2K DK/$3,9K FD)

The highly publicized slow start for Juan Soto is starting to become a mere anecdote, as Soto has caught fire in May. Five of his eight homers have come this month, and he's fourth in the league in barrel rate over the past 10 games. Tonight, he gets the same matchup highlighted in the Lindor blurb.

While some of these stats may be "Yankee Stadium RF porch" aided, Soto has still crushed RHP to the tune of a .406 wOBA and .273 ISO. He's also great for DFS because he notoriously does not strike out.

Marcell Ozuna, ATL ($4.5K DK/$3.4K FD)

This pick has a definite downside for cash, as Mike Soroka has been strong against same-handed hitting to start the season. However, Marcell Ozuna is priced down and should be a priority click in GPP stacks for what he brings to the table against RHP.

Since the beginning of last year, Ozuna has smashed same-handed pitching, posting a .396 wOBA, .252 ISO, and 40% HHR. He'll hit in a prime spot in the Braves' lineup and will get to take on a bottom-10 Nationals bullpen once Soroka exits.

Others To Consider (CASH/GPP):

DraftKings, FanDuel MLB DFS Stacks

1. Chicago Cubs vs. Valente Bellozo

I'm hoping the weather in Chicago is a turnoff to DFS players tonight, and I get the Cubs stack at a relatively low ownership. Despite the conditions, the Cubbies still have an IRT of 4.9 runs against Bellozo, and Miami's bullpen is nothing to write home about either. You can full-attack with two-handed hitters.

Favorite Combo: Crow-Armstrong, Tucker, Suzuki, Busch

2. Atlanta Braves vs. Mike Soroka

After a few injury-riddled years derailed Soroka's career, he's come out firing in 2025 with an xFIP under 4.00 and a K rate of almost 10 batters per nine innings. However, he has a significant history of giving up the long ball, which we want to exploit in stacks. The Braves are now 12th in HRs and are fifth in OPS in the month of May.

Favorite Combo: Verdugo, Riley, Olson, Ozuna

3. New York Mets vs. Mitch Keller

Keller currently has a 38% GB rate and 17.6% K rate, which are both career lows. While he's fully capable of trolling us, I'd much rather be on the attack side with this potent Mets' lineup. They're fourth in OPS and sixth in HR against RHP this season.

Favorite Combo: Lindor, Soto, Alonso, Nimmo
