MLB DFS: DraftKings, FanDuel Daily Fantasy Baseball Picks (7/26/24) - Today's Top Lineups

George Kirby - Fantasy Baseball Rankings, Draft Sleepers, Waiver Wire Pickups

The top MLB DFS daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for FanDuel, DraftKings on July 26, 2024. Mike Barner's MLB DFS sleeper picks for building optimal DFS rosters.

There are several exciting series in baseball on Friday, including the Mets hosting the Braves and the Yankees taking on the Red Sox. A busy slate also leaves us with a lot of options to consider on DraftKings and FanDuel.

This article will provide my daily fantasy baseball lineup picks for DraftKings and FanDuel on 7/26/2024, with the slate starting at 7:05 p.m. EDT. The lineup picks will range from some elite players to mid-priced options and value plays. You can also read more DFS advice and lineup picks for other sports here. Monitoring injury news and today's MLB starting lineups is also essential.

DraftKings, FanDuel Pitchers - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

George Kirby at CWS ($9,600 DraftKings; $10,500 FanDuel)

Kirby is having another excellent season, posting a 3.20 ERA and an even better 2.74 FIP. He continues to show impeccable control, recording a 2.6% walk rate that has helped him generate a 0.98 WHIP. Expect him to be a popular option against the White Sox, who have the worst OPS and have scored the fewest runs in baseball. For those playing in cash contests, Kirby might be a must.

Brady Singer vs. CHC ($8,100 DraftKings; $9,000 FanDuel)

The Cubs sit in last place in the NL Central and their struggling lineup has been a big reason why they have a losing record. They are tied for the eighth-worst OPS and are also tied for the eighth-most strikeouts in baseball. As if that wasn’t enough to feel comfortable adding Singer to your lineup, it’s also important to note that this game will be played in Kansas City. Singer has a 2.89 FIP and a 1.01 WHIP at home this season, compared to a 5.33 FIP and a 1.53 WHIP on the road.

Drew Thorpe vs. SEA ($6,600 DraftKings; $8,000 FanDuel)

The Mariners traded for Randy Arozarena on Thursday night, adding some much-needed reinforcements to their lineup. Still, they have a lot of work to do. They have scored the third-fewest runs and struck out the most times in baseball. To make matters worse, J.P. Crawford (finger) is going to be out for at least four weeks. This is a stellar matchup for Thorpe, who has already thrown at least six innings and allowed two or fewer runs in each of his last five starts.

Also consider: Freddy Peralta vs. MIA, Sonny Gray vs. WAS

DraftKings, FanDuel Infielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Gunnar Henderson – SS, BAL vs. Adam Mazur ($6,400 DK; $4,400 FD)

This is a great spot for the Orioles to score runs in bunches. Mazur has been a trainwreck, posting a 7.84 ERA and a 5.92 FIP over seven starts with the Padres. He was equally as bad at Triple-A, recording a 7.83 ERA and 5.01 FIP over five starts. Henderson, who has a .281 ISO and a .397 wOBA, could be well worth his hefty salaries.

Vinnie Pasquantino – 1B, KC vs. Kyle Hendricks ($4,800 DK; $3,100 FD)

There are a couple of splits working in Pasquantino’s favor here. First, he has a much higher wOBA at home (.355) than he does on the road (.277). Second, Hendricks has allowed a .390 wOBA to left-handed hitters, compared to a .323 wOBA versus righties.

Connor Wong – C, BOS vs. Nestor Cortes Jr. ($4,000 DK; $3,000 FD)

Cortes limited the Red Sox to one run over six innings earlier this month. However, that outing came at home. He has a 4.94 FIP and a 1.54 WHIP on the road this season. This could be an ideal matchup to roll with Wong, who has a .388 wOBA against left-handed pitchers.

Also consider: Bobby Witt Jr., Ryan O'Hearn, Nolan Arenado

DraftKings, FanDuel Outfielders - MLB DFS Lineup Picks

Juan Soto – OF, NYY vs. Brayan Bello ($6,000 DK; $4,600 FD)

Soto has been as good as it gets during his first season with the Yankees, recording a .289 ISO and a .439 wOBA. He has a higher walk rate (18.0%) than he does strikeout rate (15.8%). He comes with a hefty salary, but he could be worth it against Bello. Not only does Bello have a 1.45 WHIP for his career, but he has a 4.91 FIP and a 1.65 WHIP at Fenway Park this year.

Tyler O'Neill – OF, BOS vs. Nestor Cortes Jr. ($5,400 DK; $3,700 FD)

O’Neill demolishes left-handed pitching. He has a staggering .477 wOBA and .378 ISO versus Southpaws this season. He is also on a power surge right now, slugging four home runs over his last four games. With how much Cortes has struggled on the road, O’Neill is someone to consider building your lineup around.

Lawrence Butler – OF, OAK vs. Carson Fulmer ($3,900 DK; $3,400 FD)

Butler is on a heater right now, hitting 23-for-49 (.469) over his last 13 games. He’s not just slapping singles, generating seven home runs, six doubles, and two triples during that span. Left-handed pitchers have limited him to a .659 OPS this season, but he has a .853 OPS versus righties. This is a great opportunity for him to stay hot, given that Fulmer has a 5.44 FIP and a 1.46 WHIP for his career.

Also consider: Brent Rooker, Anthony Santander, Cedric Mullins

  • Favorite Plays: Tyler O’Neill, Jarren Duran, Connor Wong

2. Orioles vs. Adam Mazur
