ANALYSIS: Newly signed Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Mike Williams escaped from the pit of misery that was the New York Jets and scored a touchdown in his debut with his new team. He now has hope for a winning season, better quarterback play, is in a better offense, and is part of a well-managed organization.

He's been a good NFL receiver for many years, so his long history of injuries has been sad to see. For now though, he's healthy, and his role projects to grow in his new offense over the coming weeks. He could be a solid contributor in fantasy down the stretch. He was the WR12 in full-PPR scoring in 2021.
When he's strung together stretches of healthy games, he's been a borderline WR1 at times. But he's now 30 years old, and with such an extensive past with numerous ailments, he's probably not the player he once was. However, for fantasy teams that need bye week fill-ins or that have their WRs getting hurt, he could be FLEX-worthy.
It's tough to see him ascending to WR2 or WR1 status, but he deserves a bench spot in deeper leagues.

Every fantasy manager on the planet absolutely loves the tight end position. Well, not really. It would be nice if teams would throw to their tight ends more, but that might not happen any time soon. The tight end position is often one of misery for fantasy managers. Outside of tight end premium leagues, the position is easily the lowest-scoring in fantasy football among types of players (i.e., QB, WR, RB, and TE), with tight ends often failing to eclipse 10 PPR points per game. Still, having one of the better […]
