Welcome back, RotoBallers, to another edition of the waiver ranking article. The fantasy baseball season has about eight weeks left, and it's time to build those rosters for the championship run. Today, we will review our mid-week waiver rankings for Week 20 -- August 5 through August 11 -- to help you stay on top of the waiver wire, especially in leagues that allow daily moves.

Top prospects such as Coby Mayo, Darren McCaughan, and Adrian Del Castillo were recently promoted to the big leagues. At the same time, Junior Caminero, Dylan Crews, Deyvison De Los Santos, Connor Norby, and Owen Caissie patiently wait for the call to the show. Some notable recent performances include Los Angeles Angels shortstop Zach Neto, who is slashing .350/.480/.950 with three home runs, 12 RBI, and a stolen base over his last six games. Boston Red Sox outfielder Wilyer Abreu is starting to heat up, hitting .353 (6-for-17) with three homers and seven RBI over his previous 20 plate appearances.

Fantasy Baseball Waiver Wire Pickups List

For anyone unfamiliar, we release all sorts of fantasy baseball waiver wire articles every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. As part of that, Nick Mariano releases our waiver wire rankings list on Sundays to help you prioritize which players to target as free-agent adds off waivers.

In addition, we are also putting out a second waiver wire rankings list mid-week. Since many fantasy baseball leagues have daily waiver-wire moves or multiple waiver-wire runs per week for adding players, this mid-week rankings list should help you keep track of players emerging in the middle of the week before we reach Sunday.
