Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, Rome Odunze - 2024 Fantasy Football Wide Receiver Outlooks

Marvin Harrison Jr. - Fantasy Football Rankings, College FB, WR, NFL Draft Sleepers

Fantasy football outlooks for rookie wide receivers Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze in 2024. Which WR should fantasy managers target in 2024 drafts?

The 2024 NFL Draft class consisted of numerous talented wide receiver prospects, and three of them were drafted within the first nine picks. Marvin Harrison Jr., Malik Nabers, and Rome Odunze are projected to have big rookie seasons and will be heavily pursued by the players in fantasy football drafts.

All three of them are in different situations, but the general consensus is that they will be future stars in the league. The last time we had such a highly touted wide receiver draft class was in 2020, and everyone saw how that panned out as it gave us the likes of Justin Jefferson, CeeDee Lamb, Brandon Aiyuk, and Michael Pittman Jr., to name a few.

Who among Harrison Jr., Nabers, and Odunze will be the best fit for your fantasy football team this year? Let's take a look at each of their fantasy outlooks, which could help you determine your draft strategy for this year.

Marvin Harrison Jr. 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

The Arizona Cardinals drafted Marvin Harrison Jr. with the third overall pick in this year's draft, and he will be the go-to guy for Kyler Murray this year. Harrison Jr. is expected to put up big numbers in his rookie season and will be a fan favorite in fantasy football.

The Cardinals rookie can be used as a WR1 in your lineups this year, as not many will be surprised if he puts up close to 1,500 receiving yards and 10+ touchdowns this year. During his three-year college career at Ohio State, Harrison Jr. had 155 receptions for 2,613 yards and 31 touchdowns in 28 games while averaging 16.9 yards per reception.

Malik Nabers 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

The New York Giants used the sixth overall pick this year to draft LSU's star wide receiver, Malik Nabers. The Giants finally provided Daniel Jones with an explosive wide receiver to work with, and he will be heavily relied upon since the franchise lost Saquon Barkley in free agency.

In his last year at LSU, Nabers had 89 receptions for 1,569 yards and 14 touchdowns. He played a huge role in Jayden Daniels winning the Heisman Trophy, and the 20-year-old wide receiver will hope to have a significant impact on the Giants as their WR1.

Nabers has an average draft position (ADP) of 54 this year and can be used as a WR2 on your fantasy football teams. However, there is a strong possibility that by the time his rookie season is over, Nabers will have cemented himself as a true WR1 both in the NFL and in fantasy football.

Rome Odunze 2024 Fantasy Football Outlook

Rome Odunze is another highly touted rookie wide receiver. The Chicago Bears drafted him with the ninth overall pick and now have arguably the best trio of wide receivers in the league. Odunze will get the opportunity to learn from Keenan Allen and DJ Moore in his rookie year, and the trio could put up big numbers this year while making Caleb Williams' job easy.

Since Odunze will split his targets with Moore, Allen, and tight end Cole Kmet, he is unlikely to put up better numbers than Harrison and Nabers. The Bears rookie wideout has an ADP of 108 this year and could be kept on the bench or used as a flex option in favorable situations to start the season.
