Logan Thomas's fantasy football start 'em, sit 'em picks for Week 12 (2023). Our advice on whether you should start or sit Logan Thomas for fantasy lineups.
BALLER MOVE: Start in 12-plus team leagues
POSITIONAL VALUE: TE1/2
ANALYSIS: Washington Commanders tight end Logan Thomas rates a borderline TE1 play heading into Thursday's Thanksgiving showdown in Dallas against the Cowboys.
Thomas has been the beneficiary of a high-volume Commanders offense this season. While the team has struggled at times to win games, quarterback Sam Howell currently leads the NFL in pass attempts and passing yards.
That's translated into some solid games for Thomas. Last week against the New York Giants, he was targeted eight times, catching five passes for 58 yards in the team's 31-19 loss. That marked five games in a row with at least four catches and 30 yards for Thomas.
It might not sound like much, but it's a really solid floor at a position where finding value can often be tough. As long as Thomas continues to see five-plus targets each game, he has the upside to be viewed as somewhere between the 10th and 15th-best tight end for fantasy. He's unlikely to explode for a lot of yards, but he does have three games with 50-plus yards this season, so it's not impossible to see Thomas have a big game.
