ANALYSIS: The rookie out of TCU has spent the first two games of his NFL career sidelined with a hamstring injury. Miller was able to get in limited practice sessions last week and New Orleans head coach Dennis Allen said Tuesday that he expects Miller to be a "full go" in practice ahead of Week 3.
With incumbent Saints starting running back Jamaal Williams suffering a hamstring injury of his own against the Carolina Panthers in Week 2, and suspended star Alvin Kamara out of the lineup for one more game, Miller could step right into a sizeable workload in New Orleans' Week 3 matchup against the Green Bay Packers.
Miller will likely tussle with Tony Jones Jr. for carries until Williams and/or Kamara return, but the explosive rookie could quickly earn a role if he can stay healthy and put forth a good effort against the Packers. He's a speculative fantasy add with Jones Jr. in the mix and Kamara returning next week.
