ANALYSIS: For those who have been waiting all year for a potential Kendre Miller breakout, the time might finally have arrived.
Miller is coming off his most touches (10) in a game this season and even scored a touchdown in late week's game against the Giants. Now, with Alvin Kamara looking very iffy for Sunday's contest against the Commanders, Miller could be in line to lead the New Orleans backfield.

UPDATE: Alvin Kamara will play on Sunday. This makes Miller a deep league FLEX option ONLY.
Kamara's absence has been illness-related, but there's some speculation that the Saints may want to let him rest and see what they have in Miller and Jamaal Williams. New Orleans announced they are starting Jake Haener at quarterback this week and it's certainly a possibility that they view these final few regular season games as a chance to evaluate some of their younger talent.
Miller is a shift runner who is also a capable pass-catcher. If he ends up starting for the Saints, he would certainly be useable as a RB3 or Flex option so stashing him now makes a ton of sense until we see what happens with Kamara over the next two days.
