Keaton Mitchell is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 9 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Keep Mitchell on your watchlist, but don't roster him yet

ANALYSIS: The Baltimore Ravens always seem to find good players out of nowhere, and in 2023, Keaton Mitchell was no exception. An undrafted free agent from East Carolina, Mitchell burst onto the scene for Baltimore halfway through the 2023 season before unfortunately tearing his ACL before the playoffs.
Mitchell had 47 rushes for 396 yards (8.4 YPC) and two touchdowns to go with nine receptions for 93 yards as a rookie. However, due to the severity of the injury, he found himself on the PUP list to start the 2024 season, and the team signed Derrick Henry in free agency.

Mitchell doesn't have a lot of upside in fantasy unless Henry were to miss any time, but there is a chance he could overtake Justice Hill as the Ravens RB2 on the roster.
He is an electric runner who could be a nice change-of-pace back to Henry, but we still don't know when he is going to suit up for a game yet. Monitor this one but don't spend a roster spot on Mitchell just yet.
