Keaton Mitchell is a fantasy football waiver wire pickup option for running backs. Target him as a free agent add off waivers for Week 7 of the 2024 NFL season.
BALLER MOVE: Do Not Add In Any Leagues

ANALYSIS: Baltimore Ravens running back Keaton Mitchell hasn’t played this year after tearing his ACL late in his rookie season. The former undrafted free-agent running back had a limited role in 2023. Yet, he provided Baltimore with an explosive element in the backfield alongside Gus Edwards and Justice Hill.
Unfortunately, Mitchell is still recovering from the torn ACL injury. Head coach John Harbaugh told the media earlier today that he was optimistic and positive about the second-year running back. However, he has no update on Mitchell’s recovery timeline.
John Harbaugh said no change with RB Keaton Mitchell (knee), who remains on injured reserve. Harbaugh said he is still "optimistic" and "positive" about Mitchell.
Mitchell injured his knee in Week 15 last year, and the Ravens believe he will return at some point this season.

Therefore, fantasy players have no reason to add the explosive running back off the waiver wire this week. However, fantasy players in dynasty leagues should check the waiver wire on the slim chance that the second-year running back is available.
Fantasy players will want to stash Mitchell, hoping he can provide value later in the season. However, there is no reason to add the second-year pro in redraft leagues until we have an updated timeline on his return.
